Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG)
An Electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) is a quick and non-invasive test that records the electrical activity of your heart. It is used to detect a variety of heart conditions, including arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats), heart attacks, and other cardiac issues. The test is painless, requires no preparation, and provides real-time data on the heart’s rhythm and electrical impulses.
Stress Testing (Treadmill Stress Test)
A treadmill stress test is used to evaluate how well your heart functions during physical exertion. During this test, you’ll walk on a treadmill while your heart rate, blood pressure, and ECG are continuously monitored. It’s particularly useful in diagnosing coronary artery disease (blockages in the arteries) and assessing the heart’s ability to handle physical stress.

Echocardiogram
An echocardiogram (also known as an ultrasound of the heart) uses sound waves to create detailed images of the heart’s structure and function. This test allows our doctors to evaluate the heart chambers, valves, and the surrounding blood vessels. It’s particularly useful in diagnosing conditions such as heart valve disease, heart failure, congenital heart defects, and pericardial effusion (fluid around the heart).
Holter Monitor
A Holter monitor is a portable device that continuously records your heart’s electrical activity for 24 to 48 hours (or longer). This test is used to monitor heart rhythms over an extended period, providing valuable information about irregularities that may not show up during a short ECG exam. It’s often used for patients who experience unexplained dizziness, palpitations, or fainting episodes.
